The very first time I heard Lullaby, I was sitting on my bed with a razor to my wrist, and it came onto the radio, and ever since then, it has been my favourite song. My favourite lyrics are:

"I'll hold you till the hurt is gone" from "Never Gonna Be Alone" or "Someone to love with my life in their hands" from "Gotta Be Somebody" or "Honey, here comes a lullaby". How about "Just one more moment, That's all that's needed, Like wounded soldiers In need of healing" from "I'd Come for You"? We could go on. I know we've already thought of all of these.

I wouldn't apply the word beautiful to this one, but definitely educational. This one acted as a mirror showing I was having a hard time forgiving and working through all my unanswered questions and betrayal. From "Just to Get High:" But he traded everything for suffering and found himself alone. I watched the lying turn into hiding With scars on both his lips; His fingertips were melted to the bone. ... Three days no sleeping, He gave up eating ... If you've never been around that sort of thing, you just write it off with another explanation. This should have been released and made the charts.

Mine would have to be from either "Too Bad" or "Lullaby"
The first time I heard "Too Bad" I was in that state of mind where you're so mad that you're about to burst into tears, and was mad as hell at my father, because he wasn't around to teach me what I wanted to learn: how to work on cars. And I was mad at my step father because he never participated in my life. and I heard:

If you wonder why I like these lines: My art teacher: She gave us a task. I made a draft and asked her whether it is okay like that. She said: "Yeah, really good, great idea"
I started drawing, finished, handed it in to get a mark. And she gave me the mark for "failed"
I mean, that is not fair, she could have said earlier that it is bullshit!
I managed to keep cool, but you can't imagine how I felt inside. I could have damn near killed her!

So what more can we say? All such beautiful lyrics. Sometimes when I listen to some of their interviews, I don't think they even give themselves enough credit for all these beautiful ones. So I ask this: Why do we get idiots like the following writing such insulting crap. Maybe I should take this sorry excuse of an author out in a boxing ring!
