"The Hits" Tour, Europe/UK 2013!

Mon, Mar 11, 2013 at 11:40 AM

I'm super excited after the announcement this morning for the new tour! Especially since it sounds like they'll be playing all their main singles and big hits in one show. I am definitely buying my ticket this Friday for it to see them in Liverpool!

So who else is going to see them and where???

    Although Chad has said there is up to 3 new tracks on the upcoming best of album ; so assuming its one disc that leaves 18 tracks from their albums at a guess would be something like;

    Leader of men
    "How You Remind Me"
    "Too Bad"
    "Figured You Out"
    Savin' Me"
    "Far Away"
    "If Everyone Cared
    "Gotta Be Somebody
"If Today Was Your Last Day
"Burn It to the Ground" -
    When We Stand Together"
    "Bottoms Up"
    This Means War, Lullaby"

The Best of Nickelback Volume 1

    1 - Photograph
2 - How You Remind Me
3 - Burn It To The Ground
    4 - Rockstar
    5 - Savin Me
    6 - Figured You Out
    7 - Too Bad
8 - If Today Was Your Last Day
    9 - Far Away
10 - Feelin' Way Too Damn Good
    11 - Someday
    12 - Never Again
    13 - Lullaby
    14 - If Everyone Cared
    15 - Gotta Be Somebody
16 - When We Stand Together
    17 - Animals
    18 - This Afternoon
19 - Something In Your Mouth

My thoughts; very hard to make a one CD of the greatest hits as they have so many singles & fan favourites / live favourites. So the fact there is no new songs isn't surprising (despite Chads recent interview). Surprised that Feelin Way Too Damn Good made it onto the cd as they barely played it when it came out as a single.

If that's the hits tour setlist ( in different order obviously) I'd be happy with that!! Tbh it's very similar to setlist of Here & Now tour of Japan/Austrailia, just replacing If Everyone Cared & Feelin Way Too... Instead of This Means War & Trying not to love you; along with Bottoms Up being dropped...

They've got some of the heavier songs on there but not oldest "hit" Leader of Men (which they might play live), so there's no Hero, I'd Come For You, Never Gonna Be Alone, Leader of Men, See you at the Show, Side of a Bullet, Saturday Nights Alright for fighting Breathe, Worth to Say, Fly, Old Enough, Slow Motion, Bottoms Up, Trying not to Love You or This Means War but there is just not enough space on one CD for that!!

Plus international release (ie no USA/Canada) and the title of Volume 1 will keep people guessing; I suspect vol 2 will follow towards end of their career ; the whole hits tour is great but the cd reeks of record label calling the shots; the album should be a new fan favourite as new fans don't need to go back and but previous 5/6 albums !! Lol
