It's almost a tie actually: This Song is right up there with "Faraway." It's called "Wildfire."

She comes down from Yellow Mountain
On the long, flat land she rides
On a pony she named Wildfire
With a whirlwind by her side
    On a cold November night

Oh, they say she died one winter (I can't, I'm crying too hard...)
When there came a killing frost...
And the pony she named Wildfire
    Busted down her stall
In a blizzard she was lost

We'll be ridin' Wildfire, we'll be riding' Wildfire,
    We'll be ridin' Wildfire...

Been a hoot owl howling by my window now
For six nights in a row
She's coming for me I know
And on Wildfire we're both gonna go

    On Wildfire we're gonna ride
    We're gonna leave sodbusting behind
Get these hard times right on out of our minds
    Riding Wildfire...

I had a digitally remastered copy of it, of course. Stolen-OF COURSE! It seems to me as I recall the story is that something happened to Wildfire's rider (she passed away). Wildfire couldn't take it anymore, went in search of her and was lost in a winter storm. Boy, would I just love to hear Chad cover this, and I think I just did.

Oh, I'll bet you sports fans/players know all about this. I have a torn rotater cuff. Oy vie, the pain is not something I'd wish on too many people; but I can think of a couple.

    I love you, Chad.
