I am not making this stuff up!
As a member of this site, I figured my first blog would be about Nickelback and their music.
Seeing as my mom and dad are Nickelback fans, I grew up listening to them. As a kid, I may not have understood everything they meant but I enjoyed their music. I was honestly hooked right in. Years went by and I feel like I was finally able to fully appreciate them once I hit high school. My love for their music is huge now. Since I have made it to college, I listen to them everyday. Without fail. My family and friends even know how much I love them.
Since my early years in high school, I had this fantastic idea that I wanted to see them in concert. I would mention it all the time but I didn't know if it was ever going to happen. It became a firm check spot on my bucket list at this point. Sophomore year of college came rolling around and the idea was still in my head: "I needed to see Nickelback in concert."
Well my Aunt, who's a huge BUSH fan, informed me that BUSH, My Darkest Days, and Seether were touring with Nickelback for the Here & Now tour, I almost had a heart attack. This was my chance! My Aunt offered to take me with her and I was seriously the happiest girl in the world. It was finally happening!

I was going to see Nickelback in concert!!! :)
I had a countdown. It was like Christmas for me or something.
Since I had not been to a concert since I was younger, the entire idea of it, let alone that Nickelback was the main performance, was an adrenaline rush! We may not have been the closest seats but the experience is one I want to live over and over again. My Darkest Days did great, Seether was short but very good, and BUSH was awesome too. But when those lights went out the moment before Nickelback came on, I can't even describe the feeling but it was a mix of goosebumps, adrenaline, happiness, and it just felt RIGHT.
Nickelback put on the most amazing performance I have ever seen. They played all the right songs... I basically rocked out!! That night was honestly the best night of my life and if I could relive it over again, I would do it in a heartbeat! I can't wait to see them again!
I also now have a Nickelback hoodie and shirt from that concert and I'm obsessed with them. I wear them as often as I can :)
I just hope I can see them again... It would be the best. Ever.
