So I have never blogged before but here goes. I live in Reno, Nevada. The area recently suffered a loss with the death of a local sports director at KTVN Channel 2 News. The man's name was JK Metzker and he was a local man who grew up here and had strong local ties to the community. What is even more tragic is that his wife, Jaime, has terminal cancer and has less than a year to live. There will be three young boys who will be orphans soon and this is just devastating for everyone. I am reaching out to Nickelback to see if there is anyway that they might be interested in stepping up and helping out if this event comes to fruition.
